As our Property Litigation department continues to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Property Litigation Solicitor to lead complex cases, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the strategic development of the department.
Role Overview
As a Senior Property Litigation Solicitor, you will take a leading role in managing a broad range of property disputes, advising high-profile clients, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the department. You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior solicitors, as well as driving business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and overseeing a caseload of high-value and complex property litigation matters, including:
* Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes.
* Rights of way, easements, and boundary disputes.
* Lease renewals, forfeiture, and dilapidations claims.
* Property-related professional negligence.
* Adverse possession and nuisance claims.
* Providing strategic advice to clients, including property developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and public sector bodies.
* Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and paralegals, supporting their professional development.
* Representing clients in court, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution settings, including mediation and arbitration.
* Drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers.
* Playing an active role in the department’s business development activities, including networking, attending events, and writing thought leadership articles.
* Contributing to the strategic planning and growth of the Property Litigation department.
