We have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this full-time position, you will be based in our Perth, Western Australia office and support our clients positioned primarily within the Health and Educational sectors.
Owned by one of the world's top flooring manufacturers, with warehouses in WA, SA, QLD, NSW and head office in Melbourne, we have built our reputation on the back of a “can-do” attitude, innovative range of products, and dedication to all our clients in the flooring industry.
We seek a results-driven Business Development Manager who is experienced in identifying and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience specifying construction interiors for health, education & government sectors and managing projects through to the contractor.
The applicant will report to the General Manager of Sales and will have prior experience in Commercial Account Management within the architectural and design community. Experience in commercial interiors and the flooring industry is highly regarded, however not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ongoing management and developmental growth of an existing commercial flooring contractor, architect, and interior design customer base.
* Build productive, supportive, collaborative partnerships with peers, cross-functional teams, senior management, and key clients.
* Develop specification opportunities through architectural and design contacts.
* Conduct product presentations such as CPD’s to showcase an extensive range of high-quality flooring options.
* Have a sound knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
Local travel within the state will be required to meet with key accounts and field sales representatives. Regional travel occasionally will be part of your role.
