Primary School Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Teacher for a maternity cover position at a mainstream Primary school located in St. Helens. The ideal candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess significant classroom-based experience in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Position: Primary School Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: St. Helens, Merseyside
Duration: Minimum of 9 months
Start Date: Immediate, with observations scheduled for the first week of July
Application Deadline: Rolling, with immediate telephone interviews and shortlisting
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assume full class responsibility for a KS2 class
2. Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
3. Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience
Requirements:
6. Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Proven experience in a KS2 classroom setting
8. Ability to commit to a minimum of 9 months
9. Strong organisational and communication skills
