Your new role
This is a specialist role focused on revenue accounting, within the housing sector. Would suit an individual who has expertise in this area and is seeking a good work / life balance. Duties in the role include :
1. Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
2. Preparation and monitoring of monthly budget monitoring reports
3. Provide financial advice, produce financial and management reports
4. Completion of grant claims and statistical returns
5. Providing financial advice and support in addition to owning ad-hoc projects.
6. Authorise reports for financial implications
7. Opportunity to take ownership of the revenue accounting aspects of the finance team
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience of Housing Revenue, ideally gained in a local government or housing provider organisation.Ideally fully CCAB qualified, applications are also welcomed from qualified by experience candidates, with housing revenue experienceThere is a good element of business partnering in this role, so suitable applicants will enjoy building internal relationships with non-finance staff and leadership teams.
