Absolute Law Recruitment are working with an exceptional firm in London area who are looking to appoint a Legal Secretary into their Conveyancing team.
Working for one of London's leading law firms with a national and international presence, you will provide full secretarial and administrative support to the fee earner, liaising with clients and other staff as appropriate.
Duties to include:
1. Audio and copy typing all correspondence to include letters and legal forms.
2. Using digital dictation to produce documents.
3. Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
4. PA duties including diary management.
5. Undertaking Land Registry searches and responding to enquiries on behalf of lawyers.
6. Managing post completions procedures including SDLT returns and title registrations.
7. Opening and closing files.
8. Access and input data on to the firm's case management system.
Skills required:
1. Proven experience with at least 3 years' of property expertise working as a Legal Secretary within a busy Conveyancing department.
2. Fast and accurate typing skills.
3. The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise.
4. Good communication skills both on the telephone and in person.
5. Attention to detail.
6. Ability to stay calm under pressure.
7. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
