Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a new opportunity in the beautiful setting of North Wales?
As one of our wonderful RVNs is heading off onto maternity leave, we have this rare and exciting vacancy within our team at Rhyl Vets4Pets, fixed term for 9-12 months.
This role is perfect if you’ve had some time out yourself and would like to dip your toe back into nursing, or if you’re currently a locum but considering some stability over the next year financially, whilst still able to enjoy the freedom and variety of a locum role on your days off from here. Maybe you’d just like to work in a great practice with a great team and see where it takes you!
You’ll be joining a fantastic nursing team consisting of 2 RVNs, who are encouraged to utilise their skills as much as possible which means our days run as smoothly as possible. There are also 4 experienced Vets in the clinical team, led by practice owner and Vet Dr Tiziano.
The role is full time with 1 in 4 Saturdays, and no Sundays or OOHs. Ideally you’d be able to start as soon as possible.
You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, and a good experience of veterinary nursing with a genuine interest in animal welfare, enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
Our purpose-built surgery complete with high quality facilities and equipment, is situated on the Clwyd Retail Park in town. We have great local amenities close by and plenty of options for those all-important lunch breaks. When not working, there’s great transport links to West Wales for the stunning settings and great outdoors and over to Liverpool and Chester for the busy city life. Or if you prefer, take in all Rhyl has to offer with sandy beaches, activities galore, and sites to see; there’s truly something for everyone here!
Along with a competitive salary dependant on experience, we offer all the standard benefits you’d expect from a major employer (pension, healthcare, paid memberships etc.) plus a few more, such as excellent career progression, CPD allowance, exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts (up to 20% off at Pets at Home).
If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join our team, we would love to hear from you.
