What you’ll be doing:
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety ManagementSystem (SMS)
Lead Product Safety hazard andrisk identification, management, and assessment activities Oversee the administration andmanagement of the Project HazardLog Complete peer reviews,checking, verification and assurance tasks to demonstrate theadequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supportingdocumentation Understand the application ofwider Safety Case, Quality and Management System documentation Influence the construction anddelivery of the Project Safety Case including Safety Casereports Produce, present and articulateclear and logical technical safety arguments Providing independent productdesign and assurance against life cycle as well as engineeringproduct policies Provide technical support andoversight to the assessment and quantification of functionalintegration risk
Your skillsand experiences:
Essential:
Knowledge of HAZOP/HAZIN/FTA Experience in the use of SafetyManagement Systems(SMS) STEM Degree or equivalentexperience
Desirable:
Experience in chairing HazardIdentification (HAZIN) meetings Experience inmentoring/coaching teams/individuals Submarines design life-cycleexperience
