We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer with expertise in precast concrete products to lead the establishment and operation of a precast concrete factory. Key Responsibilities :
1. Factory Setup :
o Lead the establishment of a new precast concrete manufacturing facility, including layout design, equipment selection, and factory commissioning.
o Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations during setup.
2. Product Development :
o Design and optimize precast concrete products, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
o Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop innovative precast concrete solutions.
3. Manufacturing Operations :
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the precast factory, ensuring efficient production processes and quality control.
o Develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve high precision and cost-effectiveness.
o Train and manage factory staff on production techniques, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
4. Project Management :
o Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet production and delivery targets.
o Coordinate with the construction team to ensure timely supply of precast elements.
5. Quality Assurance :
o Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of precast concrete products.
o Monitor and evaluate the performance of materials and finished products.
Key Qualifications and Skills :
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
* Member of Institution of Engineers Australia with NER certificate.
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on precast concrete products.
* Proven expertise in setting up and operating a precast concrete manufacturing facility.
* Strong knowledge of precast concrete design, production, and installation processes.
* Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.).
* Solid understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
