Are you an experienced GIS Analyst or Manager with experience in leading a GIS team on the delivery of geospatial data outputs for hydrographic and land survey projects?
My client, a specialist in Hydrographic, Land and Engineering Surveys, is looking for a GIS Manager to guide their GIS team in the integration of GIS technology throughout the lifecycle of the business' projects, from project planning to final map production.
My client offers flexible working so you can either work from home or be based from their offices in Aberdeen on Salisbury.
The contracted hours are 37.5 hours per week, with the office hours being 9am-5pm.
The ideal candidate will:
·Be proficient in GIS software platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS or AutoCAD.
·Be proficient in hydrographic and/or land survey techniques, data formats, and standards.
·Have experience in a management/leadership position.
·Have experience in open-source web GIS applications for publishing and sharing GIS data, along with a working knowledge of PostGIS/PostgreSQL or GeoPackage spatial database systems, is highly desirable.
