Job title: Project Coordinator
Salary Range: £30,000 to £35,000 pa
Commutable distance from: Cardiff, Newport, Aberdare, and Bridgend
As the project coordinator, you will be creating and tracking multiple projects simultaneously. You will consult with the sales/contracts team to ensure the client's specifications and expectations are understood, enabling you to detail each stage of the project.
Your responsibilities will include keeping track of projects in procurement and delivery, ensuring open communication with the customer throughout the project delivery, leading to completion and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Consult with the customer (Contractor) as required regarding dates for survey and installation, collaborating with the contracts manager and surveyor.
2. Draft any Health and Safety requirements necessary for RAMS derived from the survey (access equipment, etc.) and upload to the relevant online system (Aconex, Asite, etc.).
3. Extract sizes from FIELDWIRE and work from drawings provided onto the purchase order form, sending purchases to nominated suppliers as instructed by the sales and contracts team.
4. Ensure the purchasing agenda is updated and goods are ordered from suppliers to meet project deadlines. Confirm using the PO Agenda (meeting weekly) and enter updates onto the main system.
5. Obtain updates on supply as required, communicate with the site, arrange sub-contractor installation teams (taking instructions from the contracts manager), and submit RAMS.
6. Firmly update with the Contractor, ensuring goods are delivered and installation teams are set to commence in a well-planned manner. Approve FIELDWIRE access for the install team, ensuring all documents for installation are clearly marked and available, including hire equipment.
7. Stay connected with both our install team and customer, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. Update PROJECT TRACKER and send FIELDWIRE reports to contractors as necessary.
Training will be provided on systems and products. Proficiency in IT systems (MS365, email management, and Excel) is important. We use Fieldwire (a Hilti product) for our site delivery; this will be a daily tool for you, and training will be provided.
