At Dalkia UK, we have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Multi-Skilled Electrical Shift Maintenance Technician with mechanical knowledge to join our team at a busy motor sport client based in Woking.
This role involves working as part of a cohesive team to provide high-quality service to the client. You will work 40 hours a week and cover various shift patterns, including early shifts, day shifts, and late shifts.
Responsibilities:
* To carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with set schedules and procedures, ensuring that engineering standards are maintained to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated electrical and mechanical systems.
* Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
* Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical and mechanical aspects of PPM and plant.
* Respond promptly and effectively to all electrical and mechanical related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
* Coordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client.
* Coordinate visiting specialist subcontractors associated with electrical and mechanical aspects of PPM schedules.
* Respond to call-outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with electrical and mechanical services aspects of the contract as required.
* Fault diagnosis associated with PPM or reactive maintenance of the site.
* Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
* Assist other trades as necessary, demonstrating flexibility to work across disciplines when needed.
* Provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.
* Undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the client.
* Work as part of a team to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks.
* Hold a basic understanding of site-based systems and how they interact with each other.
* Carry out legionella water testing duties in line with L8 and the Dalkia manual when required.
Requirements:
* Essential qualifications include C&G Part 1 & 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent.
* Health and safety training including knowledge of risk assessments and method statements.
* GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognized equivalent.
* Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis and rectification.
* Experience in electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
* Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
* A good understanding of building critical and non-critical systems.
* Knowledge in CAFM PPM Management System (Concept) via handheld PDA.
* Desirable qualifications include C&G Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent), 18th Edition IEE Electrical Regulations, BMS (Building Management System) knowledge and understanding, and a basic mechanical understanding.

Location:
The role will be based at the client's main campus in Woking, with some travel required to various client buildings in the area.
