Main duties of the job Our Urgent Care Pathway, a part of CFHD, presents an exciting opportunity for newly qualified practitioners. In this role, you will be dedicated to providing vital support to children and young people during times of crisis. This includes delivering short interventions to stabilise their mental health, conducting assessments to identify their specific needs, and working closely with parents and caregivers. Our pathway covers all children and young people across Devon and Torbay, with work bases located throughout the county. Our services operate from 9am to 10pm, seven days a week, with shift options to support work-life balance. You will work alongside colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team, fostering relationships with various agencies to meet the diverse needs of children and families. Adapting your communication and intervention style to address individual needs is essential. You will be encouraged to develop your knowledge of child development and child protection procedures.
