Job summary We are currently looking for a Therapy Assistant to join our Specialised Stroke and Neuro Team at St Margaret's Hospital, which provides Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy to patients following a stroke or Neurological episode either on the ward or within our Early Stroke Discharge team in patient's homes across West Essex. Main duties of the job The Therapy Assistant will work collaboratively with therapy, medical and nursing staff to support and facilitate rehabilitation of patients. The post holder will work as part of the therapy team with training, supervision and ongoing support from therapists Relevant experience of working in a healthcare setting as an assistant is required. You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to your work, good time management and organisational skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative in a busy environment.
