We are looking for a Leisure Attendant to join our supportive and talented team at Monkton Wood Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. The successful applicant will become a member of the CLF Leisure and Lettings team.
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Leisure Attendant who will ensure the safety of those using or hiring the academy's facilities outside of school hours. We hire the Academy’s Sports Hall, MUGA, brand new 3G Astro, small hall, performing arts studios and Classrooms to a range of customers from the local community. The Leisure Attendant will provide all visitors with a friendly and positive experience delivering effective customer service and maintaining safe and efficient facilities through supervision and high standards of housekeeping.
Hours per week can be flexible. Although we are particularly interested in weekend staff. Our facilities open around 5pm and close at 10pm on weekdays, and 9-5pm on weekends. We also open for daytime bookings during the school holidays. Our opening hours are dependent on bookings, so can vary. The hours per week can be discussed at interview.
About you:
* Have awareness of policies and procedures relating to health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection.
* Hold an appropriate first aid qualification or willingness to undertake training (where relevant).
* Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Demonstrates an ability to understand and convey sensitive information effectively.
* Be able to work well within a team environment but also capable of using own initiative.
* Have the ability to work with minimal supervision but within set guidelines.
