Were currently seeking a Senior Project Manager within our Additive Manufacturing Group to support our future product range plans. Youll report to the Programme Manager, whilst working with multi-disciplinary research and development teams to manage exciting additive manufacturing projects, developing new techniques, technologies and products to drive the additive manufacturing industry forward. About the role Responsible for the management of additive manufacturing projects, from planning the project scope, execution of these plans, and the release of new products and technologies to market through the most optimal methods Supporting projects through the formal Renishaw product development process, as well as externally funded projects and applications Communicating project progress and status to a range of stakeholders through various mediums, including verbal presentations and written documentation Leading the risk management process and manage the resource requirements for project team(s) Managing the compliance and documentation processes, project cost and resource forecast using Renishaw custom software Attending team update meetings/stand ups and lead retrospectives and risk meetings Assist with reporting for board papers, flagship reporting and the development of roadmaps Support project management and process improvement initiatives both within the division and across the wider group Assist/support the Programme Manager where necessary with operational activities About you Experience in working within project management processes for R&D projects, managing projects that deliver new products to market and product launches Educated to minimum HNC / Degree level (2 :1 or above) in a relevant discipline (STEM or Management ) A full, valid passport ensuring unrestricted travel to and from the UK and full UK driving license Desirable requirements Recognised project management qualifications such as APM, Prince2 etc. Experience managing Innovate UK funded projects would be highly advantageous Experience of using configuration management systems for managing software development and engineering changes (e.g., Microsoft DevOps, Atlassian products, SharePoint etc) Person specification As a Senior Project Manager, youll be a self-motivated, organised and dynamic individual, keen to make a significant contribution within our additive manufacturing division.
