We have an incredibly rare opportunity for you to join our team at UHBW as a Physiotherapist within our Older Person’s Rehabilitation team, based in the Therapy Outpatients Gym at South Bristol Community Hospital We are a small, welcoming team that specialises in providing outpatient care to older people living in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) who are at risk of falls or frailty. You will be supported by a highly skilled and experienced band 7 physio and OT, the Adult Therapies Medicine Pathway Lead and Outpatients Divisional Lead. What We’re Looking For A qualified Physiotherapist with a strong background in rehabilitation Excellent clinical skills in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients, particularly in outpatient settings Be able to work independently and make decisions regarding patient care without senior supervision Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care If you're passionate about making a difference and advancing your career in a supportive and rewarding environment, we want to hear from you You will contribute to therapy-led falls clinics and the Rapid Assess Clinic for Older People (RACOP). You will deliver strength and balance groups & carry out individual assessment and intervention, either face to face or virtually. The outpatients therapy gym runs a Monday - Friday service, excluding Bank Holidays.
