Science (physics, biology and chemistry) is a well-established subject in our PGCE Secondary portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a subject specialist in science to join our team as a Lecturer on a fixed term basis, with a specialism in physics or chemistry preferably. In this context, the Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an inspirational and excellent subject specialist.
The successful applicant will work in the science team which includes responsibility for teaching trainee teachers in science and professional studies, contributing to mentoring, carrying out placement visits and acting as a personal tutor. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment in the IoE where you will be able to contribute to developing new teachers as well as developing your own skills.
