Job Purpose: The eCommerce Executive supports the daily operations of the eCommerce department, ensuring products are available to purchase in time with cycle and phase changes. Product data and images are checked for accuracy and any legislation changes are adhered to. Availability is a key factor in this role, focus and attention to detail is also a key requirement. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth operational flow, contributing to the overall performance and success of the online business. Key Responsibilities: Product Management: Assist in managing the product lifecycle, including updating product listings and working with product ranging and supply chain teams to help manage product inventory. This includes managing product attributes, categories, and specifications to ensure consistency and accuracy. Content Updates: Update website content as needed, including product descriptions, and other site updates to ensure the content is fresh, accurate, and appealing. Support Online Strategy: Support the overall online strategy by collaborating with other team members on cross-functional projects and initiatives designed to drive online growth and customer engagement. Collaboration with Buying Department: Ensure there is a seamless flow of information and alignment on product data, images and availability. Supplier Relationships: Working closely with our data suppliers and packaging teams to track invoices, understand costs, raise POs and cross check data. This includes regular meetings to understand what is on the horizon and manage workload informing the trade team of any changes. Cost Reductions : Understand and report on the costs of availability including alternates and XML costs to find solutions to help reduce costs. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on availability performance working with supply chain on automating reports. Report on deranged products, top 10 for availability concerns and alternate costs. Future Proofing: Be a key point of contact for the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps. Understand the impacts to product and availability changes happening within the business to online raising any concerns to senior management team.
