Position: Health and Safety Manager
Location: Wirral (office-based with regular site visits)
Salary: £50, - £60, per annum
Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Provide health and safety training to staff at all levels
- Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practices
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, implementing corrective actions
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain required documentation
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and engage staff at all levels
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
- Valid UK driving license
