Job Title: Experienced Electrician with Social Housing Background Location: Liverpool Salary: £36,000 plus van, fuel card and company benefits. They are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician with experience in social housing projects to join their dedicated reactive maintenance team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within social housing properties. Carry out regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to deliver a high standard of service. Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including compliance documentation. Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Provide excellent customer service, liaising with tenants to ensure minimal disruption and effective resolution of issues. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Fully qualified Electrician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent). 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (latest edition). City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent AM2 or equivalent Experience working in the social housing sector. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance. Familiarity with the latest electrical safety standards and regulations. Full UK driving license (essential). Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Desirable Skills: Testing and Inspection qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent). Previous experience working with tenants.
