Accountable to the Head of Management Accounts, but working very closely with a Divisional Finance Manager, this post is responsible for providing a high quality, pro-active management accounting service to the Trust's Estates & Facilities and Digital Services division. This includes the production of the monthly accounts, analysis of the divisional financial position, production of the annual accounts, setting and maintaining budgets, and providing advice and support to budget managers dealing with complex financial issues.
Under the direction of the Divisional Finance Manager, this post is responsible for ensuring that the Division receives excellent financial support and advice to enable them to manage and develop their services.
The post holder is required to manage a small team consisting of Management Accountants. • Responsible for managing a small team to ensure the provision of a pro-active management accounting service to the Division.
• Responsible for managing the production of the monthly management accounts for a Division, in line with the agreed timetable and ensuring strict deadlines are met.
• To have a knowledgeable overview of allthe budget areas, understanding the key financial issues, and communicating them to divisional managers.
