Main Responsibilities
+ To arrange transport by road, sea or air for deliveries within the UK and International
+ Be the focal point within the UK organisation for all logistics requirements
+ Input and liaise with project teams to ensure all logistics requirements and potential issues are highlighted and considered at the earliest opportunity
+ Raise all Commercial Invoice paperwork and export/import certification for shipments as required for each job
+ Liaise with transport companies to arrange shipments taking into consideration all restrictions and legal/shipping requirements
+ Ensuring deliveries arrive at location in a safe manner and reporting on damages or discrepancies to stakeholders
+ Raise necessary client and offshore logistics paperwork for shipments offshore
+ Maintain control and advise of all shipping costs.
+ Liaise with projects team on fulfillment of projects and changes to schedules and equipment requirements.
+ Ensure all export and import documentation is maintained and held in compliance with customs & excise and all legal requirements.
+ Ensure all shipments with dangerous goods items are highlighted to freight forwarder and all relevant MSDS sent along as reference.
+ Ensure all shipments subject to export licensing are recorded adequately for reporting back to HMRC.
+ Attend daily Gemba call/walk with updates.
+ Support with expediting of all purchase orders.

+ To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times
+ Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete

+ Experience within Logistical support environment.
+ Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to operational challenges.
+ Sound knowledge of road, marine & aviation legislative regulations and guidelines as well as Dangerous Goods.
+ Good organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
+ Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Knowledge on export licensing requirements (not mandatory).
