The Role
Proofpoint is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our growing Product team. In this role, you will be an analyst for Proofpoint Essentials responsible for managing software platform operations.
You will work cross-functionally with the Channel sales and Finance organizations as well as with external partners. You will own channel business transitions, monitor licenses, and onboard partners to drive a multimillion dollar software business.
You will also assist with analysis activities on the enterprise side of the business including product metrics.
Your day-to-day
1. Manage business-critical analyses to proactively grow the channel business
o Churn and competitive insights
o Customer base analyses including segmentation, discounting
2. Platform operations
o Approving, tracking, executing change of channel moves according to process (ensuring all parties are aligned, securing the right approvals/documentation to ensure no contracts violated)
o Partner account creation for our non “full service” distributors within the Proofpoint portal
3. Support account management (account creation, deletions, moves, additions)
What you bring to the team
1. Experience in an analytical position that includes process and project management
2. Very high attention to detail
3. Strong organizational skills
4. Strong communication skills; ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
5. Ability to model in Excel to answer high-level business questions
