Sales Engineer
Established over 20 years ago, our client is a global software organization with offices in over 25 countries worldwide. Their software allows for organizations to create personalized digital experiences for their customers and they have been continuously recognised by Gartner for how they’re supporting & empowering their global clients in solving complex digital challenges.
Working with the likes of Hewlett Packard, Airbus and EDF Energy, they have seen fantastic growth since their establishment. They are now looking for a Sales Engineer to join their UK-based this; this is a crucial position in delivering technical information and solutions to clients and ensuring for successful deployment.
This is a hybrid position, with one day per month in their London office.
Responsibilities
* Support in the creation of demos, solution proposals and commercial strategies alongside any additional/supporting documentation
* Engage with prospects, existing clients and partners on a technical level
* Develop & maintain a strong, technical understanding of the product offering
* Identify & maintain a deep understanding of customer needs in order to ensure solutions are successfully deployed
* Attend industry events and in-person client meetings where needed
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends & competitor activity
* Collaborate closely with the sales team in order to execute an effective sales strategy & high levels of customer adoption
The Successful Candidate
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar Sales Engineer position
* Software background is essential but a range of markets will be considered
* A background in web-based applications or digital experience platforms would be a plus
* Commutable to London once per month

* Basic salary: £75,000
* OTE: +15% bonus
