Job description
Cheshire Constabulary are seeking to hire Exhibit Management Officers to work in and around Force locations but primarily based at Northwich Police Station. Candidates must be prepared to travel between stores held at all Force locations when necessary but the post is Northwich based as Normal Place of Duty.
The Force retains evidential exhibits in secure storage and the role will consist of ensuring the security of the stores together with organising, cataloguing, shelving, managing the checking in and checking out of items. Where necessary dealing with Members of the Public within Police Buildings to return items of property.
The ideal candidate should be able to be flexible to travel to different locations, able to work independently and proactive in ensuring professional upkeep of exhibit management. Professional engagement is required with colleagues, partners and members of the public including seeking to resolve issues and maintaining trust and confidence of the public.
Please be aware this role is temporary until 31st of December 2026 and is part time with 25 hours per week.
