As a Regional Transport Team Supervisor the main purpose of the Transport Supervisor role is to assist the Transport Operations Manager/Assistant Transport Manager and management of the team of Transport Co-ordinators to deliver a high level of service for our patients. This includes the ability to forward plan to ensure the capacity of our appointment clinics and vehicles are being fully utilised and availability matches demand. 37.5 hours per week Mon Fri. Starting salary of 26,463 per annum (reviewed following probation). 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) Performance bonuses twice a year (up to 10% of annual salary in total) Recommend a Friend Scheme ( 350 reward for both) Free quarterly snacks, flu vaccinations, and DBS Access to exclusive discounts Continuous training and development Role and Responsibilities of our Transport Coordinator: Lead with local onboarding/training of new patient drivers First point of contact to deal with issues raised by drivers under management Responsible for asset management in line with legal requirements and road safety requirements Responsible for reporting on daily vehicle checks for drivers under management Assist with local IT support management such as Cleric/Outlook Calendar Management Liaise with Patient bookings team to ensure efficient transport services Assist with local training of drivers in relation to company policies and procedures Management of drivers within probationary period Conduct regular 1:1 s with local drivers to ensure support mechanism Assist in fleet management as required by Transport Operations Manager Actively manage local relationships with Hospital managers to ensure smooth and efficient patient transport services Experience Must Haves: Excellent listening and communication skills. 1-year experience in a transport role. Ability to demonstrate both positive and development feedback. Ability to delegate tasks in a confident manner Full Driving Licence with min two years experience Ability to objectively feedback on the performance of individual transport co-ordinators.
