CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Hartlebury, Worcestershire
Salary: £18 - £20 per hour (DOE) + overtime
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays

The Role:
As a CNC Miller, you'll play a key role in the production process, working on small batch components using varied materials. Responsibilities include:
1. Programming, setting, and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls.
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure high-precision results on tight tolerances.
3. Performing quality checks using micrometers, verniers, and other inspection tools.
4. Contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency and output.
5. Supporting the production team to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
About You:
Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls preferred). A strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in using inspection equipment to ensure quality standards. A flexible, can-do attitude to meet business needs, including covering holidays and working alternative hours when required. Experience in sub-contract machining or production environments is highly desirable.
