We are seeking an ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER to become the link between the Service Manager, Service Advisor team and Technical Workshop of a large, consistently busy main dealer facility in Taunton.
In this role, you will be representing a world-class prestige automotive brand. As such, this position demands an energetic, confident, and skilled automotive Aftersales professional.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:
* Designated, specific leadership responsibilities in the main dealer Aftersales environment.
* Full understanding of automotive specific IT systems – Kerridge, 1-Link etc.
* Concise understanding of main dealer Aftersales process / brand standards.
* Ability to efficiently control and process jobs through the workshop, in tandem with the Workshop Controllers.
* Professional, calm and collected customer service skills with the ability to diffuse and resolve complaints.
* Confidence to step in and cover the activities of the Service Manager at times of absence.
You will need to have previously fulfilled the role of Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller (who has customer-facing experience), or Service Manager in a franchised dealer setting. Resourcefulness, energy, and a can-do attitude are all absolutely essential.
