We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production of monthly reports and annual and related reports, as well as preparing forecasts and budgets. You'll reconcile the Balance Sheet Account and assist in the control and distribution of all group finance income. Ideally, you'll have previous Motor Trade accounts experience and be AAT Qualified or studying later stages. You'll also have intermediate knowledge of Excel and be committed to really making a difference.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in the production of monthly and annual reports.
2. Preparing forecasts and budgets.
3. Reconciling the Balance Sheet Account.
4. Assisting in the control and distribution of all group finance income.
Minimum requirements:
* Are you a team player?
* Are you numerate and literate?
* Are you competent using Microsoft Excel?
* Do you live within a commutable distance to HD1 6RJ?
* Can you demonstrate drive, commitment, and enthusiasm?
* Do you have previous experience as an Assistant Accountant, or a minimum of 3 years Accounts Assistant experience?

This is a Hybrid role working on site and also from home (the first 3 months during probation will be worked from the office full time, you will then move on to hybrid working from month 4).
