We are looking for an experienced React Native Engineer to join our team to build our industry-leading mobile app for our in-house job management system - an all-in-one job management platform that supports the full insurance claim cycle from initial job logging through to invoicing.
You will be reporting to the Development Manager, working with an established team of engineers whose focus is on building things right.
You’ll be joining a highly skilled SCRUM team and work with some exciting technologies and partners including Twilio, Microsoft, Google, and DataDog. Role and Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a React Native mobile app.
* Work closely with other full stack Engineers to connect the mobile app with the platform.
* Work with the Platform team to ensure that we follow all CI/CD best practices.
* Work with the QA team to ensure that there is automated testing for the app.
* Commit to improving development processes.
* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
* Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and stability.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
* Actively contribute to architecture discussions around improvements to the platform.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Computer Science Degree preferred.
* 3-5 years of React Native app development experience.
Essential/Desirable Skills
* Hands-on experience using React Native, Typescript.
* Experience in writing unit tests and integration for mobile apps.
* Experience working with Azure is desirable.
* Experience working with DataDog or other observability platforms is desirable.
* Interest in learning new technologies is desirable.
