Job Description Skills Alliance is partnering a high growth, innovative medical device start-up in the UK. Having recently opened a state-of-the-art R&D facility in Oxford, UK, they require support from experienced specialists for upcoming projects. The role: A warehouse & Logistics Lead to be based in Oxford, this position plays a vital role in seamless warehousing and global distribution of the clients innovative medical devices. This position will lead a small team across the stores and logistics areas of supply chain. You will be accountable for safekeeping of all items in warehouse, receiving and dispatching of items process, delivery of customer purchase orders and arranging of shipments to/from the US, Europe, Canada, Australia and within the UK. You will also have strategic oversight of the stores and logistics areas, and will be expected to identify and implement solutions to improve performance and reduce cost. An initial 3-6 month contract (possibility to extend or convert to permanent). £500-600 per day, inside IR35. Onsite in Oxford full-time. Required Experience: Proven logistics and/or stores leadership experience. Excellent understanding of supply chain best practice. High proficiency in using an ERP system such as SAP. Able to project manage tasks/continuous improvement projects to completion. High level of attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills. Flexibility to communicate/coordinate with 3PL partners outside core working hours when required, to maintain business performance. Flexibility to travel to UK and European logistics partners for relationship and inventory management. Travel expected 3 days per month on average. Interested? Know someone that could be?
