My boutique yet trend lead supplier is looking for a Sales Account Manager. This role will be to manage existing accounts as well as open new accounts for the business.
This person must already have established connections with Buyers across mid-low value online e-commerce/high street retailers or supermarkets. In this role, you will be part of an established team of designers and garment technologists and report into the Director.
To be considered for this role, you must have a few years' experience working in a similar role. This role would be open to part-time candidates.
Main responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with accounts
2. Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
3. Utilising your contacts by introducing new clients to the business
4. Working closely with design teams on product and development for customers
5. Negotiating pricing and delivery with the design and production team
6. Having a good understanding of margins and working with merchandisers and buyers
7. Managing high volume orders in an organised and timely manner
Person Specification:
1. Proven track record of success
2. Previous experience working with a supplier in a similar role
3. Excellent communication skills to communicate with factories and clients
4. Able to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment
5. Understanding of knitwear products preferable
