The Post Office Business Case Lead will play a pivotal role in managing the development, delivery, and approval of Green Book-compliant business cases at Post Office Limited, including where required business cases that align to Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP) standards. This role involves coordinating cross-functional work across Post Office Ltd and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, including our Executive Committee, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) and other relevant entities.
This is a critical role at Post Office Ltd. given the scale and ambition of plans to wholly transform and secure the Post Office Network for future generations. This is a rare opportunity to have a real impact on an organisation with a strong social purpose, supporting communities and businesses across the UK. This role will place you at the centre of the delivery of POL’s future strategy, a key priority for ministers. The role would suit an enthusiastic individual with experience in establishing and developing Green Book business case functions and capabilities within a public sector organisation.
This role is a secondment into the Post Office. The individual will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders and will be part of the core team responsible for developing, preparing, and publishing the Future Technology Programme Business Case (FTP BC).
