Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop and deliver bespoke products for our global customers.
2. Focus on delivering highly effective, day-to-day workshop operations.
3. Produce packing crates for equipment through to high-quality joinery.
4. Liaise with stakeholders, order materials and equipment, and manage the design, manufacture, construction, and cost recovery of high-quality bespoke products.
5. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance of workshop machinery.
6. Deliver operational Health and Safety in the workshop.
7. Use traditional woodworking techniques and develop skills with CNC router technology.
8. Contribute to the research and development of potential future products, services, and improved processes.
Requirements:
1. Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in carpentry and joinery.
2. Comprehensive understanding of workshop Health and Safety.
3. Experience in the safe use, operation, and basic maintenance of workshop machinery.
4. Hands-on knowledge of spindle moulders, planers, thicknessers, tenoners, table saws, crosscuts, wall saws, and other workshop equipment.
5. Ability to interpret professional and technical documents.
6. Willingness to onboard new skills in the use of specialist software systems and tools.
7. Desirable: Experience as a First Aider or Fire Warden, and ability to supervise and deliver training to colleagues.
