Project Manager
Location: Lechlade
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team.
Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Manage all operational and financial aspects of the assigned customer and the management of new projects from initial proposal stage through to serial production and subsequent changes.
2. Ensure project deliverables are achieved and are in line with customers’, internal business, and regulatory requirements.
3. Utilise company account management tools, ERP systems, and comply with company processes to maintain strict account governance.
4. During the introduction of new products, comply with customer requests/market requirements.
5. Work with procurement to ensure project quotations and components are obtained on time.
6. Maintain high levels of gross margin and operating profit.
7. Ensure all tooling, non-recurring costs, and company labour are sold/delivered profitably.
8. Ensure all financial forecasting (Revenue, Order Intake, and Order Book) is accurate and timely.
9. Be the primary focal point for customer operational relationships, including customer satisfaction, problem and conflict resolution, and escalation.
10. Establish and maintain standard methodologies for project and programme management, in conjunction with existing procedures.
11. Utilise standard tools and processes and regularly report to the leadership team on customer account status, opportunities, problems, and outlook.
12. Adhere to company and departmental procedures to ensure compliance with ISO9001:2008, AS9100, and IRIS, including customer-specific requirements.
The ideal Project Manager will:
1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related fields, with thorough knowledge of the customer and their market.
2. Have several years of direct Project Management experience in electronic manufacturing or a related field; preferential Engineering background desirable.
3. Be able to read and analyse periodicals, business reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
4. Be proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems software (CRM, ERP).
