Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required depending on workload.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Executive. The role involves achieving personal and team sales targets by selling, servicing, and renewing policies.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, adhering to FCA compliance, and managing sales-related administrative tasks. This position requires prior experience working within an insurance brokerage.
Responsibilities:
- Compliance: Act in a compliant way and be aware of the FCA compliance procedures.
- Procedures: Follow all company procedures as instructed. If unsure of the procedure, seek advice from management.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to new and existing customers over the telephone and in person, focusing on resolving queries in an efficient, accurate, and professional manner.
- Sales Targets: Contribute to the overall team and personal sales targets through selling, servicing, and renewing policies.
- Customer Experience: Take maximum opportunity to enhance customer experience and exceed expectations at all times, acting in the interests of the client and insurer.
- Policy Management: Process mid-term adjustments and invite renewals across different products offered.
- Documentation: Ensure all client documentation is issued correctly and all internal records are kept up to date.
- Market Awareness: Keep up to date with developments in products and market changes in accordance with current marketing trends and scheme facilities.
- Cross-Selling: Actively cross-sell across available products.
- Training: Record and participate in training requirements, including online training, sourcing of material, reading emails and other training materials, and providing an up-to-date training record when requested by management.
- Quote Logging: Log all quotes as required, even if a quote is not given due to circumstances.
- Communication: Keep management updated with all developments and provide evidence of sales training and other relevant information as required.
This includes:
- Weekly updates on quotes
- Weekly updates on renewals
- Monthly evidence of training
- Support Admin Team: Assist and support the admin team with comprehensive notes and documentation.
- Post-Sale Admin: No post-sale admin to be handled by the sales team, including changes of address and Q checks unless passed to sales from admin following management referral.
- Error Management: Any errors made by the sales team will be corrected by the admin team and may result in a bonus sanction. Errors may be passed back to sales following management referral.
- Confidentiality: Maintain client and company confidentiality outside the work environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience working within an insurance brokerage is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software and systems.
- Knowledge of FCA compliance procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
