Our clinic based in Woodley seeks an enthusiastic and confident Practice Manager to join the team!
This is a really exciting time to join us as we're currently making plans to rebrand and refresh the clinic and as our Practice Manager, you’ll play a vital role in both the operational and business aspects of the practice, ensuring exceptional client and patient care.
This is a full time role of 30-40 hours, but shift times can be flexible. Occasional Saturday mornings may be required to support our reception team during absences.
About the Role
Supported by our Head Vet, Area Director & Area Support Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and supporting the practice team - fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
2. Overseeing business development, including financial management, budgeting, and stock control.
3. Handling HR responsibilities, including recruitment, staff development, and absence management.
4. Ensuring high safety compliance, supporting the team with protocols and risk assessments.
5. Managing debt recovery processes and addressing client complaints professionally.

We are a first-opinion, SA practice conveniently situated in the bustling high street of Woodley with good public transport links. Our practice has a great team atmosphere, and we’re in the midst of an exciting rebrand and clinic redesign. We're also working on achieving awards and certifications, with a focus on Exotics, Surgery, and becoming rabbit- and cat-friendly.
