Job description To represent, promote and support The Royal Anglian Regiment in internal and external communications, including social media, print and digital media. Main Activities: Act as Business Manager of the Regimental Communications, Heritage Steering Committees. Preparing and organise the Regiments communications planning and Communications Budget as well as developing the holistic view of the Regiments Heritage. Act as Business Manager of the Royal Anglian Regiment Museum Trustees and support its day to day running as well as provide support to the planned move of the Museum. Publish Regimental Bulletins to inform the Regimental Family of time sensitive information. Liaise with all Regional & location stakeholders to support Regimental Communications. Monitor all websites and social media platforms as well as oversee the Regimental Recruiting and Engagement Sync Matrix, and its coordination of posting on social media, on all platforms to ensure all content is up to date and appropriate. Plan, collate, construct, and publish the Regimental publications for The Royal Anglian News and The Castle. Act as point of contact for all Data Protection guidance and advise to RHQs and Access and update as appropriate the Royal Anglian Army Asset Information Register (AAIR). Maintain the Regimental Memorial at Duxford and manage the Maintenance Contracts by maintaining oversight of the future care of the memorials and graves and graves of our forebear Regiments. Continue to develop stakeholder relationships and offer Regimental support where appropriate. Act as the point of contact for all aspects of Royal Anglian Commemoration at home and overseas and act as lead on the planning and delivery of Commemorative events including the Annual Regimental Remembrance Sunday service at IWM Duxford. Person specification Essential Criteria Self-motivated, highly organised with a proven ability to co-ordinate activity and operate collaboratively across organisational boundaries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable communicating with a range of different stakeholders and audiences including at events. Strong organisational, planning and administrative skills, and comfortable managing and balancing competing priorities and demonstrable ability to quickly alter your approach to delivery in a fast-paced environment. Track record of developing and maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external contacts. Experience of using a range of digital tools and communication channels to engage and inform specific audiences and familiar with best practice standards for writing clear and accessible content. Understanding of how audience insight and evaluation can be used to inform communications strategies and activity.
