Refuge Support Services Coordinator Hours: 35 per week (Full time) Contract: Permanent (subject to ongoing funding) Monday to Friday / 9.30am - 4.30pm Salary: £29,000 per annum, (rising to £29,500 after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period) Location: Agile - working where and when required, to do the job most effectively. A regular presence in our Torfaen and Newport Hwbs and Refuges. Successful applicant will be required to work some evenings and weekends. Participation in the 3rd tier out of hours on-call rota. Purpose of the post: To manage team members, Team Leaders and lead the day-to-day coordination of the Refuge Service in Torfaen and Newport, that provides specialist trauma informed and person led support to people affected by Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and/or Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) Specific Responsibilities Work closely with the Service Manager to contribute to achieving Cyfannol Women's Aid Vision, Mission, Ambition and Operational objectives Manage team members by demonstrating and positively role modelling the organisation's values and culture Collaborate with team members to plan and deliver high quality, specialist, trauma informed, person led support services Ensure team members to place individuals supported through the service are at the centre of designing their support and have a range of ways to feedback about their experience Manage safeguarding for your service area, complying with internal and external policy and legislation, authorise adult and child referrals Manage the delegated aspects of budgetary responsibility including some purchasing, work closely with the Finance department Provide support team with case management and direction, providing direct support for emergecy/crisis situations, complex cases, team member absence, when more than one worker are required Manage team preparation and attendance to Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC), core group and other similar meetings Key collaborator with the Service Manager in collecting information and producing timely returns and other reports as part of funding requirements Key collaborator to monitoring the team's compliance to external quality standards (e.g WWA NQSS) and External audits (e.g Housing Support Grant Commissioning aduits) Oversee regular audits including Oasis data base recording system within own and other organisational services, provide improvement plans where appropriate Manage data compliance for the service and support team members to keep accurate and timely records in all aspects of the service and case work Work collaboratively with other Service Coordinators to ensure refuge, community and crisis referral paths are easily accessible are clear and concise, and to continue to promote a whole team approach Key collaborator in empowering individuals have informed choice and design and achieve meaningful and impactful outcomes, led by them Key contributor in managing risk compliance, supporting team members to reguarly assess and positively managing risk for adults and children we support in an inclusive and enabling way Contribute (through working closely with the Facilities Coordinator) to ensuring a safe compliant and quality environment across offices and services Support the Service Manager preparations for retendering of services Provide support, signpost, and refer adults and children to the internal and external services they wish to engage with Contribute to internal development projects as part of an organisational continous improvement Represent the organisation, embodying Cyfannol Women's Aid's values at external meetings, public events, conferences, and similar ensuring that the organisation's reputation is protected and enhanced Participate in team meetings, supervision and appropriate training Carry out any other reasonable duties as required/requested by your line manager General Responsibilites Contribute to the: Development and achievement of our Vision, Mission and Objectives Promotion of our values, culture and aspirations Creation of a safe, supportive, reflective and explorative working environment Promotion of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Upholding of our Polices and Procedures It may be necessary, following consultation, to amend the job description in light of experience and changing circumstances A current valid driving licence, access to a car and insurance covering business use is essential.
