Title: Groundwork Site Manager
Location: Kendal & Surrounding areas
Office Location: Kendal
Salary: £40k - £55k (experience depending)

My client is a family-run Groundworks Contractor that has been operating for over 40 years in the Lake District & Surrounding areas.
They operate in 2 capacities as a main contractor on Civil projects and as a subcontractor working on a range of new build projects from Housing, Commercial Builds, Education & Healthcare projects.
Must Have:
1. Black CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
2. Structured Career History
3. Experience managing Civil & Groundwork Projects
4. Experience on projects up to at least £10m
5. At least 5 years managing sites
6. Able to get to the Kendal office easily
Duties:
1. Manage & Co-ordinate health & safety across the site with the project manager.
2. Ensure you’re a visible presence on site.
3. Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
4. Coordinate and schedule all activities on the site, including subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is being carried out to the required standards.
6. Resolve any issues, conflicts, or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
8. Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and milestones.
9. Lead and supervise a team of site personnel, providing direction, guidance, and support as needed.
