We're looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team on a Major National Grid project in St Austell.
About the Role:
As a Site Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Site Manager and leading on-site operations to ensure the successful delivery of works in line with MES and National Grid policies. You'll take ownership of site compliance across health, safety, environmental and quality standards, ensuring productivity and smooth coordination of labour, materials and site documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise site activities across civils operations
·Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and company procedures
·Manage direct workforce, agency labour, and subcontractors on-site
·Maintain accurate site records and reports
·Coordinate delivery and use of materials
·Monitor progress against programme and proactively resolve issues
·Assist with audits, inspections, and interface with National Grid representatives
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
·SSSTS Site Supervisor Qualification
·City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3+ in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
·National Grid Competent Person (Authorised)
·CSCS / CPCS / ECITB Supervisor Safety Card / Passport
·First Aid at Work (Full Certificate)
·Proven experience working on utilities or power infrastructure projects - ideally within the National Grid framework
