This role will be part of the Corporate Nursing Team and be responsible for providing clinical knowledge and support to clinical teams across the organisation to promote the South Tees Accreditation Quality Care (STAQC) programme. They will take the lead on specific key delegated work-streams.
Main duties of the job
1. The post holder with support of the STAQC Lead nurse will audit and review clinical care to identify unsafe or substandard practice and respond appropriately to promote a safe outcome and improve practice.
2. The post holder will work collaboratively with other internal services and leads to ensure ongoing patient safety and quality for patient.
3. The post holder will support projects and audits that aim to reduce harm and improve patient experience.
4. The post holder will practice in accordance with their professional code of conduct.
5. The post holder will support and lead on the planning and organising of nursing & AHP development events.
6. The post holder will engage with local communities interpret and seek feedback that can be used to improve Trust services.
7. The post holder will represent the Trust, and be an active participant in regional, national forums, ensuring trust representation and promotion at events, conferences, and educational initiatives.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse / AHP/ Midwife
* Degree level Qualification
* Recognizable teaching qualification i.e. ENB 998, 730 or Facilitating Learning in Clinical Practice or relevant experience
Knowledge
* Evidence of continuing professional development via a portfolio
* Awareness of strategic priorities and programme
* Ability to plan and prioritise own workload when under pressure
Skills
* Experience of managing a team at band 7
Disclosure and Barring Checks (DBS)
