HR Partner Contract: Permanent, Full time, 52 weeks per annum Salary - £50,321 Location - Brighton Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with a small secondary school based in Brighton. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Provide on-site and remote, proactive support and undertake case management work Responsible for the line management and development of the HR Advisor and support through their studies Undertake case work where required in line with policy and legislation To provide additional support to the wider HR team as a whole when necessary Provide appropriate advice and guidance to the school ensuring that advice is in line with Trust policies and best practice. Ensure that Trust policies are adhered to at all times Liaise with external parties i.e. LADO, police, recruitment agencies where required Investigate employee complaints and grievances and recommend corrective actions. Undertake HR induction for all school based staff Prepare reports for RT days and Desktop reviews and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Chief People Officer Manage and control the schools single central record (SCR) (overall accountability will be held by the Principal Officer). Escalate causes for concern to the Chief People Officer and or the Principal Education, Qualifications and Training Minimum GSCE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent A professional qualification relevant to the post such as CIPD Level 5 (level 7 desirable) Experience of providing a proactive HR service at senior advisor level within the education sector Ability to operate in a consultative manner, demonstrate confidence and ability to push back, whilst maintaining professional relationships Extensive experience in providing robust, proactive employee relations advice If this opportunity is for you please send your CV to Abigail Simpson All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
