About the Role
Hayeswater Family Time Service’ is Trafford’s provision for safe and meaningful family time between children and their families. It is safe place for children and young people to spend time with people they care about and to maintain healthy relationships and a good sense of identity.
We are currently looking to recruit a Business Support Officer with relevant experience / level 3 or willing to work towards to support our Family Time Practitioners and families accessing our service.
You will be based front of house to welcome families and visitors to Hayeswater Family Time Centre whilst providing an efficient business support function within the Support & Protection Services. (Including processing financial transactions efficiently and in accordance with council policy, maintaining accurate records in a variety of systems (including manual and electronic) and providing accurate analysis and/or management information. Handling and inputting data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and security of the data processed.)
You will work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, service users and other stakeholders to meet the needs of the Service. You will have a positive, “can-do” approach to supporting colleagues within your team and social workers in a way that supports the Family Time Service to develop and excel.
About you
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a team and be able to work on their own initiative.
You must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and experience with Children’s Liquid Logic would be an advantage, although training will be provided. Working as part of a busy team, you will possess excellent organizational, interpersonal skills and have a calm, confident manner.
Knowledge of safeguarding and the children’s act would be an advantage.
