The Community Living team is part of the Councils Specialist Accommodation Service. The team provides support and advice for older persons living in the Councils sheltered housing schemes, helping them to live independently.
About the job
To be responsible for supervising Community Living Scheme Managers and Community Living Support Officers over various locations, to provide a safe and efficient service to residents. To play an active part in the Community Living team ensuring that good communication is maintained within the team, providing cover for other managers/officers and contributing to the work of the team as a whole.
What We Are Looking For From You
The post holder should have experience managing a team, working with older persons, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing the health and safety of buildings. Responsibilities include implementing rotas and ensuring there is suitable cover for each scheme to maintain a high level of service.
