Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: The SEN Tutor will work with students who have special educational needs, providing individualised support and guidance to help them achieve their educational goals. Duties include assessing students' needs, developing tailored learning plans, delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, monitoring progress, and liaising with parents and teachers to ensure a collaborative approach to learning. Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, is essential. Experience working with students with special educational needs is required. Knowledge of SEN support strategies and a strong understanding of the UK education system are also necessary. Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required. Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher, preferably with SEN students. Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational abilities and a patient, empathetic approach to working with students. Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN support or a relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous. Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work in educational settings, such as schools or learning centres, and may need to travel to different locations to support students.
