We are seeking a creative marketer who will relish taking the reins of in a stand-alone Marketing role within a busy independent retail organisation based near Thetford. The Marketing and Events Manager and is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (with flexible start/finish times) and comes with a competitive salary (information to be provided upon request). The Job This is a fairly general, traditional marketing role, with a focus on developing strategy and managing online presence and visual communications across the site. You’ll work closely with the MD and Senior Managers to come up with campaigns and effectively co-ordinate their execution. These will be centred around country living, plants and nature, seasons, giftware and homeware, local food and drink and more. The post will involve social media management, website maintenance, design for web and print, running social media and print promotions, email campaigns, newspaper and local media advertising. You’ll also be part of the Events committee and will help come up with engaging events and take the lead in effectively advertising and promoting these events. You’ll be stand-alone in this role, so will enjoy variety and spinning different plates. We are seeking somebody who wants to take ownership for the brand and manage its tone of voice and visual communication style. Full duties and responsibilities are available on request. Requirements Experienced marketer with considerable experience in design and marketing for web and print Experience of working in a busy, ideally independent commercial business Skilled user of Adobe Creative Suite – particularly PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator Solid photography and videography skills Strong digital skills – understanding of content management and production and email campaigns Enjoys developing strategy Is a confident communicator and can bring energy, vision and a results-driven mindset to the business.
