As our Director for Brand and Product Marketing you will transform business strategy and product vision into a comprehensive, cohesive marketing approach and brand narrative that drives engagement and delivers measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Brand Leadership:
* Define product priorities and marketing goals for the marketing organisation through the creation of the Annual Plan (Retail) including product marketing strategies to engage both new and existing customers to take up and use products.
* Serve as the primary brand storyteller, crafting integrated communications that resonate across all channels.
* Cultivate and manage strategic brand partnerships that amplify our market presence.
Comprehensive Marketing Development:
Lead the end-to-end marketing planning process by:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams (brand strategy, product, media, communications).
* Synthesising diverse inputs into a unified, compelling marketing narrative.
* Establishing clear objectives, strategies, and measurable key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strategic Brief and Campaign Management:
* Create robust product marketing briefs that provide key objectives, detailed audience insights, comprehensive deliverable specifications, precise KPI frameworks, competitive landscape analysis, specific campaign requirements (messaging, partnerships, product integration).
Insights and Research:
* Collaborate closely with consumer insights teams to develop a robust learning agenda.
* Drive research initiatives that inform strategic decision-making.
* Translate complex data into actionable marketing intelligence.
Creative and Production Oversight:
* Manage internal creative workflows and agency partnerships.
* Lead weekly creative review meetings to ensure strategic alignment and quality execution.
* Oversee planning, development, and implementation of marketing communication efforts.
Performance Management:
* Implement rigorous performance tracking mechanisms.
* Conduct comprehensive results analysis against predefined KPIs.
* Organise and present insights-driven performance shares.
Financial and Resource Management
* Develop accurate annual and quarterly budget forecasts.
* Conduct detailed capacity planning aligned with the annual marketing plan.
* Collaborate with production teams to optimise resource allocation.
