Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the trust's mission and goals, ensuring alignment with educational priorities. Policy Development: Create, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with current employment legislation and best practices. Recruitment and Retention: Oversee the recruitment process, from job design to onboarding, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-caliber staff. Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Performance Management: Implement effective performance management systems to promote staff development and organizational effectiveness. Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure all HR activities comply with statutory requirements and maintain accurate employee records. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance staff skills and career progression. HR Reporting: Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to senior leadership to inform decision-making. Person Specification: Experience: Working within Education as a HR Manager is a requirement for this role Knowledge: In-depth understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and experience with HR systems.
