We have an opportunity for a Business Services Administrator to join us at Holford Gas Storage. As a key part of the team you will work on site across all aspects of the Holford facility, delivering business services support including SAP/purchasing, training and competency planning, comms and general administration. Your responsibilities
You will deliver a range of support services that will contribute to efficient business management for the Holford team. Key administrative tasks include:
• Processing of purchase orders on SAP and interfacing with the Procurement team
• Stores inventory management
• Control of documents via electronic document control system, ensuring confidentiality at all times
• Front of house and visitor management
• Site wide comms
• General administrative support for the site team including visitor events, maintaining office supplies
• Administration of site waste management systems ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Administration of a range of management tools to support the business:
• Training demand plan and associated training/competency databases
• Induction co-ordination and HSSEQ communications internal and external to the Holford team
• Contractor Management and Engagement systems
• Action tracking system through engagement with Holford team
As an integral member of the team you will:
• Pro-actively support the site culture, leading by example in actions and words, and be fully supportive of the HSSEQ objectives.
• Actively support the enforcement of onsite minimum HSSEQ standards
• Maintain and encourage others to maintain Holford standards
• Liaise and work with a range of people at all levels from across the business in the UK and Germany and from external organisations to ensure smooth communications and business arrangements
Your profile
Essential
• Relevant experience in Business Administration.
• Clear logical approach, highly organised and able to perform day-to-day tasks autonomously
• Ability to learn new systems and approaches and then deploy without supervision following sufficient training
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective working relationships and communication
• Able to work confidentially with senior members of Holford and Uniper
• An excellent working knowledge of office based IT (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Able to use SAP (purchasing) and Sharepoint (document management) systems, or equivalent, proficiently
• Strong written communication skills producing outputs of a highly professional standard
• Able to take on and deliver ad-hoc projects (with support from site team)
• A “can do” attitude and a will to present Holford Gas Storage externally as an excellent business
• This a site-based role
Desirable:
• A Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent
• Awareness of HSSEQ requirements and experience of working in a HSSEQ focussed team
